WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE

The Collwanted posterin County 4-H is starting a county insect collection.  However, we are needing help of all of the 4-H members.  We will be placing a bounty on insects.  You can collect your reward as you catch insects and turn them in to our office.  We need a variety of insects, so  different bounties will be placed on different insects.  Once the collection is built, all Collin County 4-H members will be able to use the collection with their 4-H Clubs.  For more information, please see attached insect bounty guide.

4-H Clothing and Textiles Community Service Opportunities

community service feb 2010

Make a Pillowcase, Make a Difference American Patchwork & Quilting is challenging you to join their efforts to Make a Pillowcase, Make a Difference. Every pillowcase can make a difference in your community. A pillowcase can provide comfort for a cancer patient, hope for a foster child, encouragement for a battered woman, or beauty for a nursing home resident.

Quilt Challenge

The 4-H Quilt Challenge is an opportunity for 4-H members to design a quilt around a piece of fabric, display the quilt at Texas Roundup in June and then donate the quilt to a charity in your community.   Quilts may have any design or theme but must incorporate the use of at least some of the challenge fabric supplied in combination with your own choice of fabrics.

Guidelines for the 4-H Quilt Challenge are available at
